How to cure Eczema and Seborrheic Dermatitis naturally
Seborrheic dermatitis is an inflammatory condition that generally affects the scalp, characterized by dandruff or a flaky scalp. Three natural treatments are:
1. Honey and Water Treatment
Mix 4 parts honey to 1 part boiled water. Apply honey water to the affected areas and everything around those areas and leave it on for 3 hours. Once the +3 hours are up, simply wash the honey off, and go about business as usual.
2. Baking Soda
Make a paste by mixing water and baking soda. Massage the scalp using this paste and leave for a couple of minutes before rinsing.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
This acidic vinegar prepared from apple cider is to be diluted in water (10 parts of water and 1 part of apple cider vinegar) and massaged into the scalp gently for a couple of minutes and then rinsed thoroughly.
Eczema is a general term used to describe varying skin conditions that result in inflamed and discolored skin. Three natural treatments are:
1. Coconut Oil
Rinse your hands with water and pat them dry. Rub the coconut oil onto the affected areas and let it dry. Apply throughout the day as needed.
Fill an old cotton sock or nylon knee-high sock with organic steel-rolled oats and tie it over the tap of your bathtub, letting the water run through the oats. Oats contain anti-inflammatory and anti-itching compounds that can be very soothing.
Chamomile soothes itchiness and calms inflammation. You can make chamomile tea by brewing dried chamomile flowers in boiling water for approximately 15 minutes. Strain the flowers and allow the tea to cool slightly. Then, make a warm compress by soaking a clean cloth in the chamomile wringing out the excess moisture. Press it against the affected skin for 10-15 minutes.
